Greenbank Country House is a lovely Victorian house which is quietly situated in its own grounds in the heart of Borrowdale.

From the elevated site there are magnificent views of the valley and Derwentwater.

It is 3.5 miles south of Keswick, ideally situated for fell-walking, climbing and touring the Lakes. Or you can simply relax in the lounges or grounds of Greenbank
The rooms in the house are spacious and very comfortable. All 8 rooms are ensuite with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and clock radios. The 5 superior rooms are larger and have magnificent lake and fell views as well as TV.

There are two lounges with log fires, both of which are non-smoking, that guests may use at any time of day and there is also an Honesty Bar.

Our guests are offered a tray of Tea or Coffee on arrival
